I tag my computer renderings with the terms "Digitally Generated Image" and "Computer Graphic". I'm not sure if these are proper terms for 3D renderings. Any one have any other suggestions? I would like to suggest "Ray Traced Image" as a new term to add to the search list.



I agree with the OP about this, I would like my 3D renderings to be separately searchable from photographs although I know there are gray areas where some images are mixtures of both.

Yah, I don't plan to ever DQ. I would rather submit a 'single white pixel' [sic] as a blow, then to be DQed.

My first thought was that maybe that many photos of the same models in the same clothes would get "too similar" rejections here, then I thought of minilypses.





This one may help you, it has lots of photos of the same models by several different photographers. It's more business-y, but may work for you, if in your context teachers dress more business-y than we do here - we go to training meetings in tees and jeans.

The rejection will stay of course as will our inspectors individual take on what they believe to be stock.The company trusts them to make that call and we have little choice but to follow suite or Scout it.

forgive my ignorance....but where are we supposed to send the models images, apparently I wasn't listening :(

obviously there are a lot of video submissions going on and i stock keeps up holding the level of the quality checks high, which is good but makes the queue growing constantly... the fact is, istock is challenging the patience of non-exclusives since the would like them to become exclusives... they already convinced me ;) i apply for it as soon i'll get out of another contract which is bounding me at the moment... i think i should have done this from the beginning!... so all the newbies here: i recommend you to go for exclusive... it's very stressy to feed many agencies and better to go for one partner right from the beginning...





i only wish there would be the same policies for photos since you need 250 downs before you apply... (why the hell???)

It's quite difficult to know how to do this well as you will never be able to get the same size for every different banner. Plain black lettering on white background looks basic. I am not sure how to tackle this.
